This is a unique Kegel exerciser that will remind you of cotton candy when you first receive it. It does have a lot going for it such as being interactive, the app has different training modes from beginner to advanced as well as being able to disinfect itself within its case by using ultraviolet sanitation, which is great. I was happy to try out this exerciser.
The Candy is a really cure Kegel ball that is around 3.3 cm in diameter and is light pastel pink. It is covered in silicone as well as being waterproof and seamless. It is quite light and comes with a silicone string to help your withdrawal from the exercise. It also has a rechargeable USB port, so you don’t have to worry about batteries.
During some of the exercises it does vibrate but more like pulsates in you. Not sure why it vibrates, except that it is supposed to give you subtle pleasure. It does vibrate softly, so you won’t be heard when you are using it.
This happens to be the first toy that I have owned that needs an app to make it work and I just sync’d it to my Galaxy S7 and downloaded the app. You do have to register with your email and connect the device to Candy using BlueTooth, then pick a class. Once you have inserted Candy inside of you, you just follow the directions on the screen.
There are three classes: Adaption training, Advanced and then Glow.
During Adaption Training, you will do 4 exercises. You have to do each one 3 times before you can move on to the next stage. The advanced stage has you doing 6 exercises that involve climbing, walking and squatting. You will have to do these 3 times before you can move on. Glow has no program schedule, but it states to do the exercises at least 3 times a week for 15 minutes.
The app has been setup so that you can only do one exercise every 4 hours. This can be really annoying especially if your Kegel muscles are really strong and you are trying to get to the advanced stage as quick as possible.
The Candy is made of medical grade silicone and it does have a really strong industrial scent when you first get it so wash it before use. Plus, it is waterproof, so you can rinse it with warm soapy water.
Candy is made from 100% medical grade silicone. The silicone touch is quite silky to the touch, but a strong industrial scent lingers on it when you first open it. So be sure to wash it thoroughly to get rid of this. Then you can UV clean it by dropping it into the cylinder and plugging the USB cord in. It takes about 45 minutes and it is a really great feature. Also, don’t use any silicone based lubricants.
Another thing is that the batteries don’t last very long. It takes around 5 hours to fully charge, so charge it the night before you use it. But your app will tell you just how full the battery is.
It is hard to say if it is worth the $200, but after using it I have noticed that my Kegel muscles are a lot stronger than what they have been. The actual product description is a bit misleading as it talks about a lot of interaction, but there isn’t. So this product is a complete toss up for me.
